Katie and I met to discuss her recent work at the Eyebeam residency on West 21st Street. In 1998 and 1999, I worked next door at the bar/lounge LOT61, created and owned by Amy Sacco, which featured commissioned works by Damien Hirst and Rudolf Stingl to name a few. Katie is an artist who works with digital video, photography and animation to create unsettling, yet beautiful views of human imagination. Katie is one of the artists I intend to feature at OUTLET Fine Art in 2014.
