Born in 1979 in Johannesburg, South Africa. Lives and works in Johannesburg.

I’m interested in the symbolic notions of humans as animals...This fascination with anthropomorphism is often likened to mythological stories, fantasies based on these impossible but imaginable creatures...Throughout this process I feel I am developing my own mythology, inventing my own characters to potential stories that are removed from any such context and remain ambiguous or have ambivalent poses. Through decontextualizing them...they remain open to reinterpretation. -One Small Seed
