Born 1989 in Miami, FL, lives and works in New York, NY.
I create my works in series, centering on a theme of exploration. My process often yields sculptures and photographs, as I am interested in building worlds, which are in part collages of the world as it is. I pull imagery and motifs from historical references, the artistic cannon and the everyday, in order to reinterpret them outside of chronological time. As individual pieces they act as abstractions of familiar sights. But together, each series describes a possible world.
Earned his BFA from the Cooper Union in 2011. He is a resident at the Drawing Center Open Sessions through 2015.
